0:27.3	by Paul and Maggie Murdo. And as it turns out, they're as brutal as we expected them.
0:36.6	And today, we want to try to understand exactly how their deaths came about, the sequencing
0:45.8	of the injuries that they sustained, and precisely how long did it take for them to die.
0:55.6	Today, I'm taping from Hollywood, California. So the sound is going to be a bit different
1:01.3	than normal, but I felt the need to hop on here and wake up Dr. Remer's testimony in the
1:06.7	trial. I'm Joseph Scott Morgan, and this is Body Bags.
1:17.6	Joining me today is Dave Mack, reporter with Crime Online. Dave, as I mentioned in the
1:24.5	opening, we've been waiting some time now for the testimony of the forensic pathologist.
1:29.9	And here we have it before us. It certainly sent a shockwave through that courthouse.
1:35.4	The lead up to testimony of Dr. Alan Remer. As you mentioned, this is the one thing that
1:42.1	people have really been waiting for. Alec Murdo is on trial for the murders of his wife
1:49.2	and son. So Maggie and Paul, they were both murdered on June 7, 2021 on Murdoch property.
1:57.0	They were both murdered within minutes of one another, and they were both murdered
2:03.3	with different weapons. There's a lot to unpack here. Dr. Remer was testifying about
2:10.4	the wounds to Maggie and Paul. As we begin, I have to ask you the very specific question.
2:18.3	I thought we're at trial. You're going to show us pictures. We're going to see the pictures
2:23.0	of everything that's going on with Paul and Maggie Murdoch. And what they did first,
2:27.8	though, Dr. Remer used poster boards of male and female diagrams. Why would that happen,
2:33.4	Joe?
2:34.4	When we look at autopsy photography, first off, for those that are not familiar with the
2:39.5	trauma at all, and keep in mind, this is being used as a descriptor, as an illustrative
