On September 3, 2014, five children were reported missing and were last seen in the care of a

parent who, you would hope, would only have their best interest in mind. So if you like your coffee

hot, but your bones chilled, sit back and start your day with a

morning cup of murder. Upon moving from Pennsylvania to Chicago, Amber Kaiser, just 19 years old at the time,

met a man named Timothy Jones while working at the redemption desk at a children's fun park.

Just six weeks after their first date, the pair married, and Tim, described by Amber as

very smart and goal-oriented, worked and attended the DuPage College where he was studying pediatric

medicine.

Amber, with no high school degree, decided not to further her education, and instead supported her new

husband as he moved on to a community college in Mississippi, and later a state university

where he got his computer science and engineering degree. While he was doing so, Amber gave

birth to three children, Natan, Elias, and Mira Gracie, who all lived in campus housing together.

In 2011, Tim got a job at Intel and relocated his growing family to South Carolina,

where they, despite his $60,000 starting salary, were living in a rundown trailer. Amber at this point was pregnant with
