Hello, and welcome to another edition of the Byron York Show, the No Chat Chat podcast.

We like to get right into it, and what we're going to get into today is something you might

call the Mitt Romney Lindsey Graham flip flop.

So let's explain here.

There's a lot of hypocrisy in the United States Senate.

I mean, it's virtually built into the place.

If you watch it for any length of time, to cite just one example, the filibuster is something

that many senators support when they are in the minority, and they oppose it when they're

in the majority.

Somehow a good thing becomes a bad thing when the other party uses it.

I remember one senator just coming out and telling me flat out, we're in the majority.

Filibusters are bad.

Now, if we lose the election, and we're the minority, filibusters are good.

So I mean, that's just the kind of everyday hypocrisy you can see in the United States Senate.

Now, judicial nominations are another example of them.

In the Senate Judiciary Committee and in the full Senate, both parties use tactics to

block and delay nominees when it's the opposition parties nominees.

And then if they're used against their own party, they'd decry to them as terrible and

unjust.

Now, it's just how the Senate works.

So when we're talking hypocrisy, you know, it's there in the US Senate.

And then there is the Supreme Court nomination of Katanji Brown, Jackson.
