We recorded ages ago, hours ago. Eddie's tucked up in bed somewhere in Melbourne. We'll hear from him shortly. But not that long ago, we've got official confirmation

that it's happened. Lorry Cantor has gone to live. He is a majestic. So Ian Carter and I are just

going to mull over that one for a few minutes. Perhaps not even that. It's as we expected,

stroke feared, Ian. It is. I think it's worth we expected, stroke feared, Ian.

I think it's worth putting in context, though, Andrew, that when I first got wind of this move,

which came from another journalist, and I messaged you on the Friday night.

So that was a week last Friday.

I think it's fair to say both of us were really gobsmacked by that development because Laurie had finished up with the second best of the PGA tour cards that were available to European tour players on the Order of Merit this year.

And that was a really significant achievement

for Laurie. He was set to go and play in America next year. And then of course the

rumours started. And Eddie was very, I think very revealing on this. And obviously he's not

here now because he's fast asleep in Melbourne preparing for the

Australian Open although we're here from him very shortly but he doesn't know about the

Laurie stuff when you hear it that makes sense doesn't it not really but what Eddie did say

was that he's much more at ease with one of his best mates going back to live because Laurie has seen everything

in golf now and is in a well-qualified position to make his choices.

Yeah.

Well, he is a majestic, as we expected, he's replacing Henrik Stenson.
