Summary

After decades of coaching high-achievers, I've seen that the people who succeed simply commit and follow through. It's not their skill level, talent, or predisposition for health and fitness. Instead it's their character and integrity. It's the whatever-it-takes attitude.

These men are also the ones I find myself continually inspired by. That's why I just released a solocast on The Mindset for Exceptional Training - for these men and the ones who aspire to be like them.

You'll learn:
  • The most important thing to curate each day.
  • The KEY step most people miss in the transformation process.
  • How to balance rigidity and fluidity in your training.
  • A framework for addressing and improving your weakest links.
  • The ONE mistake you're making in your mobility work.

And that sometimes seems general.

0:25.6

And I want to get ultra specific with you today on what I'm thinking about and give you a little update on my training.

0:31.6

Give you a little update of the last 12 months in my life. What's going on?

0:34.6

I just wrapped up a great workout, feeling awesome, feeling pumped. And so much that's been going on in my life that I think is valuable to share.

0:42.1

I've been working about 30 hours a week on my business, specifically on my coaching, actually.

0:47.6

So I coach right now I've got about 20 clients and a cap out at 20 because any more than that

0:52.6

is a lot of time. And I give these guys a lot of time and attention. And what I'm noticing across the board of my coaching,

0:58.8

and I thought this is relevant, is the people that succeed are the ones that ultimately just

1:04.4

simply commit. And what I'm noticing is there's probably 10% people who join my coaching

1:10.6

who don't follow

1:11.7

through.

1:12.7

And no matter how many times I text, the matter how many times I call, the

1:15.6

how many times I pass them, they don't do it.

1:18.1

And that's really interesting for me to observe.

1:20.3

And as a coach, it actually pains me.

1:22.7

It actually stresses me out when someone hires me to coach them and I can't get them to their end

1:29.0

result, right? Most people, almost all, get to the end result that they strive for. And what I do

1:36.1

ultimately above all is I make their life simple, right? They're going to the gym anyways. And the guys

1:40.9

I work with specifically, let's be honest, are very much high achievers.
