Summary

Many people believe that it's their lack of motivation that prevents them from making progress... That if only they were able to master their will, anything would be possible. These are usually men who have historically been motivated which just adds to the frustration. If I could stick to that, why can't I stick to this?  But what if it wasn't actually about motivation at all? What if you only needed to master THREE things in order to create progress, momentum and therefore, results?  Over the last 20 years and throughout my career, I've studied the intersection of mindset, the nervous system, and the physical body... which are inextricably intertwined.

So on today's solocast, I wanted to feature a snippet of my last workshop where I share my understanding of what is really holding you back from feeling consistently motivated.

You'll learn:

  • The 3 KEY components of motivation that will help you get unstuck.
  • What ONE practice can expand your capacity more than any other.
  • The GREATEST driving factor of consistent progress in your training.
  • How to preserve + amplify new levels of youthful energy.
  • What guarantees continued success in all areas of life.

bodybuilders, do it for a long time. And sometimes the thing that we need most is an objective

process, which is really, really important. But if I give you an objective process, how many people

0:55.7

would actually adhere to it? What percentage of people do you think? I don't know. You can guess.

0:59.6

Your guess is as good as mine. Maybe 10%, 20%. Let's say the 80-20 principle, Pareto's principle, right?

1:04.9

80% of people don't follow 20% of people do. And those are the 20% of people that you see on the

covers of magazines and in social media. And the 20% of people that you see on the covers of magazines and in social

90 day process for you to lose 20 pounds of body fat or 30 pounds of body fat, which is very common in our program, you might not follow through. I know energy is a big one, right? If you if you lack energy, sometimes people reach for foods that they shouldn't be eating because they feel a little

2:04.7

hearty, I need just a little pick me up. I need a little orange. Or maybe you lack belief in yourself. Maybe that's maybe don't believe you can do it. You don't believe it's possible for you. Maybe you lack a clear plan or a process. Maybe you lack discipline.
