Summary

The religious leaders at Capernaum try to set a trap for Jesus as they bait Him into healing a man with a withered hand on the Sabbath. As we watch Jesus’ response in Matthew 12:9-16, we learn some valuable lessons about how the church conducts itself today, the folly of extreme legalism, and how easy it can be to follow God’s commands.

If you go to Israel, that's a must stop. You've got to go

0:23.0

to Copernium because it's powerful for so many reasons. It's a beautiful little place right on the

1:16.7

setting right on the Sea of Galilee. And in fact, I've shown you some of this footage before,

1:21.1

but it's this beautiful spot, that white building that we, in our drone shots that we got,

1:26.1

that white building is, they call it the synagogue of

1:29.1

Jesus because we know Jesus stood on that very spot. And we know that the miracle we're going to

1:35.3

read today happened in that synagogue. Now the white walls there, they weren't there during the

1:40.8

time of Christ. That was brought in about 100 years later, but the gray foundation that you see there

1:45.4

with those gray rocks, that's the original foundation.
