As we continue our study through Matthew, we're seeing some themes develop in sections.

I always like to sort of organize in my mind, at least, some of the divisions of what we've been doing.

And, you know, we recently covered the big ten miracles of Jesus that are kind of in one clump there in Matthew.

But as we go into Matthew chapter 11,

we kind of, we get to start sort of a new section of Matthew, if you would. In fact,

the first 10 chapters you can put in a category of its own. You can jot some of these things

down if you wish in your notes. But in Matthew chapter 1 through 10, we might coin that the revelation of

the king. The king revealed. Jesus has been revealed as the king that was supposed to come,

the Messiah. And that was the revealing of the king. But now we're going to kind of turn in chapters 11

through 13. We're going to see the rejecting of the

king, which is so troubling. When you and I, we know that he's Jesus. Come on, you guys. Hello.

Don't reject him. It's so hard to watch when you see these people who were right there

despising and rejecting Jesus, just like the Old Testament prophets said

what actually happened, which is troubling, to say the least. But, you know, it's like watching a

movie when you know, you guys are doing the wrong thing. Don't do that, you know. But that's what

there are a lot of these religious leaders are going to do, is they're going to reject Jesus, the

Messiah.

And that really starts here in chapter 11 and carries on through chapter 13.

So let's pick it up here in Matthew.

By the way, the disciples were just sent out, if you remember, in chapter 10.

You know, and he told him how to minister and what to do.

We kind of covered that recently. And then sort of springboards into chapter 11. It says in verse 1, it came to pass. When Jesus had made an end of commanding his 12 disciples, he departed
