Today's show we celebrate the magnificent seven, yes, seven amazing talents that transform the comics industry inside and out,

six of whom I know quite well, I was proud to stand alongside them.

And in keeping with this joy of comics, proselytizing comics, sharing comics,

I can think of no six guys I want to celebrate and discuss more with you than Todd McFarland, Eric Larson, Mark Silvestri, Wills Partasio, Jim Lee, Jim Valentino, and some guy named Lifeeld.

The work that we did together at Image Comics was transformational, but it was our art.

It was the work that we did that moved people and gave us that audience and gave us that

ability to create Image Comics.

Today on our continual celebration of this incredible 30th anniversary of Image Comics,

it is my great pleasure to discuss Eric, Todd, Jim, Mark, Jim Wills. And I'll give some notice to the work

that I did as well, some guy named Rob on today's all new Robeservations. Hello, everybody. Welcome

to another edition of Rob Observations. I am your host, Rob Leifeld,

and these are my Robeservations. These are the things that I am observing for you all.

I absolutely love visiting with you guys each and every week. The comic book culture is what I grew up in.

It is what I celebrate the most. It is what I celebrate the most.

It is where we find the origins of so much that we are enjoying across all media, video games,

movies, streaming, toys. It all gets back to comic books. If you have even listened to this

show for one or two or just a few episodes,

you know how highly I think of my fellow peers of the people who make comic books. And from

the beginning, look, I think storytellers in general are of a certain ilk, of a certain interest.

They're staggeringly interesting and

compelling figures. And I mean, this gets back to even like somebody like a Walt Disney, okay?
