Prince said it best when he said we are gathered here together, dearly beloved, to discuss today. We're discussing comic books. Do you

remember how you felt when you opened that first comic and it shook you to your core? You're

about to jump out of your own skin because you were so excited by what you were experiencing well that is what we're going to talk about today

the places that common books have taken me as a fan the friendships that I made along the way

the conventions I attended all of the different relationships uh that I can squarely put at

the church of comic books at the foot of the

church of Combooks. It's not a religious episode. It's about our passion for sequential art,

for storytelling, for graphic novels, and we're sharing it all together today in One Hallelujah

on an all- Rob Observations.

Hey everybody, welcome to another edition of Rob Observations. I am your host, Rob Leifeld. I of the comic book producing vocation that has gone on for 36 years, almost 37 years. I've written comics,

drawn comics, published comics, edited comics, produced comics. I've printed comics. I've done all

of it. I have been behind the scenes, uh, of the actual making of the comic books for the last

36 going on 37 years. We talk about not only comic books, but everything based on comic books, your toys, your video games, your movies, your streaming shows, the television shows that I grew up with.

That's what we discuss when we are tuned in to a Rob's Observations episode.

There's over 200 episodes. I invite you to look through my catalog. I started this show in the pandemic with the help of my son who said, Dad, I can get you a microphone. I can set you up and he did. And it gave me a chance to share my comic book experience as I have walked through comic books through the ages.

I mean, when I started collecting comic books, Marvel comic books, was just, I mean,

literally was around 14 years old, the Marvel comic books of the Marvel superheroes,

not the pre-Marvel superheroes, the Fantastic Four, the Spider-Man, you hit 1973,

1974, and you're looking at a 12, 13, 14-year scope that Marvel had been out of.

And so many of those stories were out of my reach.
