One of our mutual friends rightly stated that Susan bleeds ecclesiology, or the theology of the church. After talking with her, I couldn’t agree more. She said, “I can barely speak the word ‘church’ without weeping in wonder at the very idea! The Body of Christ, the Bride of Christ, the family of God! The church is the people of God in all times and in all places! We’re those who were chosen in Christ in eternity past! We’re being redeemed, adopted, and sanctified in him! The church is those who are indwelt by God’s Holy Spirit! Think of that! The very Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead! We’re the ones with the potential to make Jesus known! To reflect the glory of God in a dark, broken world! 0:42.8	part of a local church, we'll want to be a part of his body. Our adoption in Christ means that we
0:49.1	are united to his other children. We are part of the invisible church, but we live out that reality
0:58.0	and time and space by connecting ourselves to a local body of believers. We're supposed to get
1:05.4	down in the trenches with this concept. Y'all from everything that I know of Susan, she does just
1:12.0	that. She gets into the trenches and she loves and serves the family of God. And I can't think of
1:17.2	anybody that I'd rather hear from on this topic. Or let's be real, any topic. So you'll know her
1:25.4	a little better. Susan's been happily married to Jean Hunt, a retired PCA pastor for 55 years.
1:31.7	She formerly served as the coordinator of women's ministries for the PCA, and she's actually
1:36.4	authored several dozen books for women and children. I can't wait for you guys to hear from her today,
