Welcome to the Independent Republic of Mike Graham right here on Talk Radio.

We have not been with you since a lot of the action of yesterday.

0:11.9

We watched many of the MPs in Parliament standing up and speaking.

0:15.9

Many of them very, very well and many of them with great passion about why we have let down the people of

0:20.9

Afghanistan, why Joe Biden should be blamed for doing so and leading the charge on that.

0:24.9

And we've also seen an awful lot of footage this morning of the Taliban, checking people's

0:29.5

1:16.1

country who think that the nation-building idea of parts abroad is a good thing should really take

1:23.2

some lessons from what's just happened and why they should never do it again. Rakeeb, a very good morning to you.

1:29.0

Good morning, Mike. How are you? Yeah, very well indeed. As I have been, I know

1:33.1

you've been glued to some of the coverage that's coming in from Afghanistan and some of the

1:37.9

terrible things that we're not seeing, but we sort of know are happening behind the scenes.

1:41.8

Tell us a little bit about your piece that you've written,
