have happened nine years ago today on Black Friday. I don't remember, although knowing me, probably not.

I'm someone who tends to wait until the last moment to do shopping,

especially Christmas shopping.

So in all likelihood, it didn't happen on Black Friday.

It happened on, say, December 23rd.

I still needed to buy a Christmas gift for our oldest daughter,

Grace. I didn't have an idea and one of the things that I tend to do when I don't have an

idea is go to the store and just walk around until something jumps out at me and says, this is the perfect gift.

And so that's what I did.

Walked around the store, I think it might have been Target, but I'm not entirely sure.

And I was walking around, looking at things.

And then I was in the

electronics department and that's exactly what happened I saw something and it

jumped off the shelf and said buy me it was a Fitbit a step tracker she loved it

she put that thing on set the goal of walking 10,000

steps and fell in love with the step tracker fell in love with the commitment and she was consistent.
