I think we were 12 or 13 when the accident happened and we were surfing tunnels, which is

like a break that's really far out. It's probably like a 20 minute paddle. It was just like

any other day, we surfed every single day so it wasn't a big deal or anything. But my

dad took his surfing and it was probably like 30 minutes in Doris surf when all of a sudden

I saw her board go up and then a wave came up so I couldn't see her anymore and then

by the time the wave came down, she was paddling in with one arm and saying, I got attacked

by a shark. We were all in shock and my dad went and paddled right up to her and got her

and he pushed her on a little wave and we had to go on to the reef altogether and my dad

told my brother to just paddle as fast as he could to like call the ambulance and I just

stayed there with her just trying to keep her like conscious.
