Man, I cannot believe that it's been four months since the last episode.

And when I dropped that episode back in August, I thought it would be maybe a month.

I didn't think it was going to be two months.

I said, I think I said it would be less than two months.

But now it basically ended up being much closer to four months.

But the reason I wanted to do this episode today is because I wanted to formally close the loop on the job search.

And so I found a new role.

I found a new role in October.

And at this point, I'm, I think I just finished up week six in the new role.

And everything worked out as good as it possibly could work out,

considering the circumstances.

And when I recorded that last episode in August, I was in the middle of a dry spell

in the job search.

So up until June, you know, from the time I started looking in March, or the time I had to start looking in March, until June, I had three interviews. And then in that period, one of those three interviews was a role that I was really excited about and that I really thought that I was going to get. But then after June and after I didn't get that role, and I probably talked about that in

the last episode, I was kind of crushed in the moment.

But having a flight that same day that I got that news gave me time to sit in it and process

all the feelings so that when I landed on the other side, I wasn't as upset.

I was still bothered. It wasn't completely gone,

but I was in a, in a much better space. And then in the second half of the search, once the,

once the dry spell ended, it actually poured. I ended up having four interviews in one week.

It was crazy. And there was one role that I was really,

really excited about that I'd been chatting with the hiring manager about this particular role. And I
