I got hooked on the JFK assassination case a long time ago.

And when I say hooked, I really mean it.

I bought and read literally hundreds of books on this case and I was totally convinced

there was an extensive conspiracy behind what happened.

I don't believe that anymore.

Before we get into the facts that changed my mind, I like to make what might seem to

be an obvious point.

You don't change people's minds by insulting them.

When I believe there was a conspiracy in the case, nothing annoyed me more than hearing

people say I was crazy or that I believed in a conspiracy because I had some sort of

childish emotional need to believe a president could not be murdered by one lone gunman.

Of course sorts of comments never made me question or reassess my views.

If anything, they made me hunker down and get defensive and become more and more convinced

I was right.
