That's more like it.

Reform UK started today with a new MP in its ranks. Robert Jenrick, he'd reportedly been plotting for months to defect the reform, saw his plan backfire in a spectacular fashion, Kemi Bade Not got wind of the move, and sacked him before he had the chance to resign.

Moments ago, Jenrick has posted a moving and highly well-produced clip on X.

Those that came before us built a great country, but we are set to lose it.

These people run Britain as if they hate it.

But whilst this government is accelerating our decline, they didn't begin it. The Conservative Party betrayed its voters. They don't have the stomach for the radical change

that Britain needs. Nigel was all too often, a lone voice of common sense. They laughed

at him. Well, they're not laughing now.

Well, they are laughing now, Robert Generic. I'm afraid because I know I shouldn't be biased or anything,

but it does make me slightly weak with laughter listening to that, partly because all those

clips, I think, are taken from this chaotic press conference,

which Robert Jenrick was late to because he got lost in Milbank Tower.

And this kind of stirring music is kind of more than upset.

But it is obviously a big and serious issue, Alice Demby.
