Cowboys fall in the season opener in Philadelphia.

Start in the season 0-1.

But a golden opportunity presented itself last night for the Dallas Cowboys in a very odd fashion.

So they received the opening kickoff, if you will recall.

And as they receive that opening kickoff, there is an injury on the kickoff.

So they have to stop play.

And as they stop play, and they showed the replay, it's obviously the dude blew his ACL because it's a non-contact thing where he just dropped

to the ground.

Got to get the card out there.

So the teams are kind of ready to chopping at the bit.

Let's go.

And then all of a sudden we see a scuffle happen and like, oh, this is some hate.

And they show the replay.

And all you see on the replay is Jalen Carter walking up to Dak Prescott and spitting right into Jack Prescott's chest.

Jersey chest.

I think it hit him on the Walter Payton.

Yeah.

I feel like it did.

Walter Payton is like, hey, hey, I'm just doing nothing here. And so doing nothing here. That's an ejection. And before the Cowboys run their first offensive play, the Philadelphia Eagles best defensive player, a menace in the interior of their defensive line is ejected and will not play a single snap. Well, let's hear it from Dak's side, because there's two sides to every story, well, three sides to every story, but let's hear what Dak had to say after the game about that situation. I probably spit a thousand times throughout the game. I mean, especially game day, maybe even in general and something I guess I'm not proud of. But in that case, he was trolling, I guess you could say, trying to mess with Tyler Booker. I was just looking at him. I was right here by the two linemen and I guess I needed to spit and I wasn't going to spin on my lineman and I just spit ahead. But I would say he was back there where jury was in that sense and he asked where he goes, you're trying to spin on me? And at that point I mean, I felt like he was insulting me. Like, I don't, I wouldn't spin on somebody.

I'm damn sure not trying to spin on you. Like, we're about to play a game. I'm wondering why you're trying to mess with the rookie. And so when I stepped through, I actually say the words, like,

what the hell would I, excuse me, but I'm probably even more colorful. What would I need to spit on you for. And he just spit on me in that moment. And it was more of a surprise than anything.
