But the Cowboys' offense, in the first half, if you just want to look at the first half,

I mean, you look at an offense that went right down the field,

I probably exclaimed that they would win the Super Bowl after the first drive,

because we had no idea what Shottie's offense was going to truly look like

because, oh, it's so vanilla in the preseason.

Cowboys receive the ball, and we'll get into the really weird start of the game because it wasn't just a Jalen Carter thing.

Remember, that happened because there was a massive delay because an Eagle Special Teams player blows out his knee on the opening kickoff and they got to bring the card out in that

whole thing. Yeah, we'll do that at 10-10. But man, I thought the first carry of the game,

Javante Williams goes for seven yards and we all kind of looked at each other and go, okay,

all right, here we go. And they go right down the field. Dak hit Lamb for that big 32-yard game on that opening drive. Next thing you know, it's Williams up the middle, and you've got a rushing touchdown, and you made Philadelphia look pedestrian, and you're up 7-0. Yeah, you know, we always talk about the early scripting of plays each team will do. And it's like, man, just script the whole game because it feels like those are always pretty effective when you have time. All right, this is how we're going to do the first drop. But they showed you a little bit of everything. They definitely showed you that there was going to be a lot of motion in this offense, something that we didn't see under Mike McCarthy in that first drive. You're going, man, they're moving all around. You got Giovante Williams with a carry. You got Cavante Turpin with a carry. You got C.D. Land with a deep ball. I mean, they showed you everything that, oh, my gosh, all the question marks that we had leading up to this game, first drive was whoa and a lot of motion very unexpected

a lot of it yeah so you're motioned on every play on that first drive you're like okay all right i see

where you're going with this let's just see if it's sustainable you know you saw north carolina

and the monday night college game have a fantastic first drive and then all of a sudden everything

just cratered but then after that they get the ball back again on the second drive.

And it's crazy because that whole entire first quarter is just that one stinking drive, two drives, one each.

And then the Cowboys wind up getting the ball late in the first quarter.

And then going down the field again, you're going, what the heck like? They got help with Philadelphia in the first quarter and then going down the field again you're going what the heck

like they got help with philadelphia and the penalties but the cabbos took full advantage of that

and once they scored again you're going all right you saw a couple of mistakes on the offensive

line and that's going to happen because their offensive line is very very young it is

you're going to have those ups and downs.
