So without further do, I want to introduce you guys to Dr going to

Dr. Afia and Billy Shaka who is here with us in collaboration with Maui Moisture and she was

going to talk to us about some very cool stuff

when it comes to just how we look at our hair

and our psychology as it pertains to hair.

but learning a little bit more about you and your background

and I know that you're truly a leader in this amazing, you know,

new movement around just the psychology of hair and I

really want to learn about your background and what got you into,

you know, really kind of talking about this and

raising awareness around this topic.

Yeah well I love doing here my entire life I would be my family's hair stylist and was responsible for caring for my sister's hair,

even though she's older than me. That definitely translated to my college life where I would have these many pop-up salons in my dorm room at the

University of Pennsylvania and so I just enjoyed the process of hair care. I was not a business-minded and never charged anyone for doing

here but I just enjoyed it so much. But I also was a psychology major at the
