Okay, do you think much about your birth order and how that affects your marriage?

It's not uncommon, for instance, for a firstborn to marry a baby of the family, and there are

implications when that happens. I'm John Fuller, along with my focus colleagues, Greg and Aaron Smalley,

and I'm wondering how you've seen each other's birth order affect the relationship and how things

go on. We were laughing out of control as we looked this up because Greg is a middle child,

and I'm the last born or the baby of the family, And the descriptors that we found, the characteristics that typically encompassed the birth order,

just nailed it.

Yeah, it's described, Greg to a T, described me to a T.

Yeah, is the middle child.

I'm a total peacemaker.

I mediate in my family. Here it office, here at focus, very resourceful,

loyal, empathic. But one of the big ones was feeling overlooked and alienated. And I'm always

lamenting how invisible I am. No one notices anything.

And they said that one of the challenges is that middle children often become secretive.

And that is such an issue that we've dealt with that I've had to deal with in my life over the years.

My goodness.

It was fun to reread it.

Like we've known this and have read the stuff and done personality tests, but it,

tell you, it's right on.

And Aaron?

Versus for me, social and outgoing, charming and manipulative, risk-taker, adventurers, happy,

entertaining, financially irresponsible.
