Well, I took the whole week off my civilian job in order to prepare for it, of course.

I, as you know, have done little bits and bobs of voiceover work, done some cartoon bit.

Don't put yourself down.

You're a professional voice actor. Professional voice actor, brackets, horses, close brackets. Yes, some of the best in the biz. Some of the best in the biz, don't forget the saddening. Yeah, not sure about that. But I, I've, something I've never done, I've done adverts, I've done cartoons, but something I've never done is an audiobook. He's never done an audiobook, right? Yeah, because it's out of your wheelhouse. I wouldn't use you for an audio book.

But then one day his agent phoned him. And what did your agent say with a confused and askance look on her face? Well, she said, um, she said, a bit of one, really. she said, I've had a request for you for an audio book.

I went, get on.

And she went, I... I've had a request for you for an audio book.
