Well hello and welcome to another important broadcast podcast from your podcast Pals.

And it's an unusual broadcast this week, isn't it?

Because various strange things happen.

Something that's never happened. Happens in things happen. Something that's never happened.

Happens in dinner winners. Something that's never... Well, no, that's not true. Something that's never happened twice happens in Tell Me Something I don't know. Less of a tease if it's something that's... It's less of a tease if it's something. Something that doesn't happen very often happens. Remind me one day to tell you about the most amazing coincidence that ever happened to me.

I won't do it today because there's already, you know, coincidences are plenty. But one day I shall tell you the story and you shall bow down before me. Wow. Well, I'll make a note of that, Dan. Do you make a note. And for you to tell me that story at some point in the future just when

you're feeling low dang can you tell me the coincidence story now no sure thing not yet i i do

think you're not ready i do think today's show has been quite jolly and upbeat given that it's

happening against the backdrop of the news that I delivered to you this morning.

Oh. And that new, I mean, that could be almost anything. No. Well, the news that hit you really hard. I know you don't want to talk about it. I don't want to talk about it too much. But yeah, the Garfunkels on Leicester Square, it looks like that's gone. because the Frankie and Benny's group who take care of lots of restaurants,

it seems like they've had to, well, decide that my Garfunkel is no longer theirs.

And obviously, you know, it's bad. It is genuinely bad news for all the people that work there.

Yeah, it is, yeah.

A cracking little place. I would go there before the show sometimes, but it was very small. So I think that probably they looked at it and went, we can only get about 12 people in there anyway. Yeah. So we'd just be, it'd be just Danny Wallace once a week on his own at a table in a mask. I shall miss coming into Leicester Square of a morning where you happen to have come in particularly early and just like looking across a rain-drenched Leicester Square in through the rain-soaked window

of Garfunkel seeing you tucking into your fry-up and separate little bowl of beans.

No one never said it wasn't sexy.

We all need a little bit of eroticism in our lives, don't we,

just to keep the magic going.
