Today on Insight for Living from Chuck Swindall.

As we identify the Lord Jesus Christ, let's don't seek the wisdom from the street.

There's not much out there.

Let's don't listen to the opinions of other people.

They usually are not worth the time it takes to listen.

Let's hear what scripture says about the identity of the Lord Jesus Christ. The disciples were best friends with Jesus. They walked with him, hung out with him,

watched him perform miracles.

But even the disciples didn't know the extent of Jesus' divine power, or the gruesome events that

would soon unfold.

Today, on Insight for Living, Chuck Swindall presents a biographical series called

Jesus The Greatest Life of All.

Using the Bible is our authority, we'll get to know Jesus in a manner the disciples never could.

This includes an overarching view of his eternal existence.

Chuck titled this first message, The Identity of Deity. the identity of deity.

Since Jesus is the object of our worship and the focus of our praise. It seemed appropriate that we spend the first several times we meet focusing our time,

our attention on him.

And we start with the question of his identity.

Who is Jesus Christ?

Now I think in our gathering. who is Jesus Christ?

Now I think in our gathering,

most of our answers would be in tune with what the scriptures teach.

Let's see if people who lived in Jesus Day knew who he was.
