my good friend Rob, Corzine Rob.

So today I'd like to talk about the season.

Tis the season of Advent and it is the time to reflect upon what it means for us as Catholic Christians to go through the year,

not just the secular year where we celebrate the new year on January 1st,

but the liturgical new year, which we have celebrated with the first Sunday of Advent.

When we enter into the season of Advent, we enter into time from a kind of insiders' perspective, from an eternal perspective,

eternal perspective, you know,

and I'm reminded of what Paul says in Galatians 4,

verse 4, where he's reflecting upon time,

but he sees the fulfillment. We read, but when the time had fully

come, God sent forth his son, born of woman, born under the law. And that's what the season of

Advent is all about, to prepare us for the birth of Christ, for the coming of the Messiah.

But it's curious that when Paul speaks of the fullness of time in Galatians 4. The word that he uses for fullness, play Roma,

is really rich and deep, but the word that he uses for time is Kronos,
