We find ourselves at the end of the liturgical calendar. We've just celebrated Christ the King. What a glorious feast.

We're preparing to enter into the Advent season.

But since most of us are gathering with loved ones for Thanksgiving in these days,

I want to focus on the family, but I also want to shift the focus to the holy family.

And so I want to begin by welcoming my brother in Christ and newly wed

Well, the wedding was glorious.

We had the St. Peter Scola and we knew that they were good and we knew that they had told us we don't get to pick the music.

So at the wedding was the first time we heard at this beautiful liturgy, all of this palestrina and

polyphony and I think a lot of the people who aren't here typically who would

come in for the wedding were just blown away and obviously my wife and I

Christina were what would have been blown away no matter what kind of liturgy we had but it was

it was truly a heavenly experience and we set off

with with bright eyes and bushy tails and hopeful hearts to California and as soon as we got sequestered alone in our little cabin in Yosemite, we activated the in sickness and in health clause of our wedding

vows and went down with COVID. We heard, we prayed, we wondered what it was like

we knew not to ask anyway, but the pictures that Christina posted of Yosemite were just stunning
