We did have two House members, Democrats Ethmal, Republican Peter Meyer, secretly traveled

Kabul earlier this week and revealed that they don't think the area has a shot of being

evacuated even by September 11th, let alone August 31st.

And it's no secret that our G7 allies are frustrated with this timeline as well.

And they would like President Biden to figure out how to shift it.

How the President moves next.

Well, the side of Afghanistan, though, is a bullet on his resume for a future political

campaign or the focus of too many chapters in history books.

Meanwhile, the pandemic, there's probably the bigger thorn in Biden's side.

Another summer wave has destroyed hopes that were at the end of it.

And misinformation still runs rampant.

It was always going to be his greatest challenge.

And I'll go back to something I said earlier as COVID goes.

So goes the Biden presidency and COVID's hit a stumbling block.

And I don't think it's a coincidence that Biden's numbers are starting to fall.

But a small light at the end of the tunnel, perhaps, at least if you're a Democrat in

the House.
