In this episode of The Homestretch w/Adrian Durant we have with us Michael Cherry, a talented young track and field athlete. Cherry specializes in 400 meters. He was a member of the USA team in the 4 × 400 meters relay at the 2017 World Championships in Athletics in London, UK, placing second and receiving a silver medal. In 2019, Michael Cherry anchored Team USA's mixed 4x400 meter relay to gold at the IAAF World Championships held at Doha with a world record setting time.

In this interview with Michael Cherry, we talk about his early days, how he got into track and running. We talk about his journey from being a LSU sprinter to becoming a World Champion and a World Record holder. We will also talk about his future plans and his preparations for the coming events.
