Welcome to another episode of The Homestretch w/Adrian Durant, where we meet and have conversations with some of the most inspiring and elite athletes, coaches and sports personalities. Today's episode is special because we have with us our very first non track & field athlete guest. Today, we have with us on the show, the former NFL player, an entrepreneur, very popular keynote speaker and also an author of bestselling book, none other than Marques Ogden. He had a fabulous NFL career where he played with great teams like Jacksonville Jaguars, the Baltimore Ravens, the Buffalo Bills, and the Tennessee Titans.

In this interview with Marques Ogden, we will talk about his childhood years, playing in the NFL, his entrepreneurial journey, and leadership lessons he learned along the way. We talk about his time at Howard University where he played Division I football. Marques will share his story about how he followed his dream and was drafted into the NFL in 2003. Ogden is a warrior outside the Sports World as well. At the age of 27, he founded a construction company which he lost just after few years after a bad business endeavor. Marques will share, when he was at the lowest point of his life, how the NFL and lessons he learned along his journey helped him restructure his life. We also talk about how he is doing now as a public speaker and National Youth Football Organization teacher and his plans for the future.
