Summary
Today’s show features an interview with former Marine and current RE agent/investor Sean McDonnell. Sean shares his story of how he focused on buying one house a year, slowly building up his RE portfolio while also building a RE sales team using skills he learned during his time in the military. Sean’s story changed when his STR property manager quit on him, leaving him managing three of his own properties. The burden of that work led Sean to look into executing a 1031 where he traded three small STR’s for one lakefront luxury property he had stayed at with his family and loved the experience.
