You may already know Father Peter from his online presence under Orthodox ethos on his YouTube and social media.

Father Peter is the founder and current head of Uncut Mountain Press, Orthodox Ethos.

Father Peter has an undergraduate master's and doctoral degrees in dogmatic theology from the

theological school of the University of Thessalonica. Father Peter is a priest of

the Romanian Orthodox Archdiocese of the United States of America and assistant priest of the

Holy Protection of the Mother of God Orthodox Church in Houston, Texas. Welcome to the show,

Father Peter. It's great to be with you. Thanks for having me. Thank you so much for coming on.

I'm really excited to talk with you today. We've met before at a monastery in one of Elder

Ephraim's monasteries. So truly, Elder Ephraim is bringing us together today. And he was your

spiritual father for 20 years, right? I met him in 1994 and had him off and on because I was

in Greece for 20 years as my spiritual guide. And we would come and visit him often and, you know,

seek his guidance. So in addition to my spiritual father, Manathos, I was sent to him many times

and we had him to guide us here

in America. So yes, it was probably one of the greatest blessings I've ever had. That's amazing.

And I guess my spiritual father is connected to Elder Ephraim as well. So in a way, we're,

we're spiritually related. That's right. Family. So one of the things that, reasons that you came into my kind of trajectory is because

you and I have a really, we have a connection on an issue and it's baptism.

I'm a brand new Christian.

Well, not brand new.

I'm about four years into being a Christian now.
