it's just packed with color and tons of activities and tons of things that will keep your kids

interest they have all kinds of different colors so you can get pink ones and unicorns and waves and all kinds of things

that will appeal to your sons and your daughters. But if you're looking for a way to introduce

the scriptures to your kids, this is a fantastic Bible to do that. We'll put a link in the show notes

that you can click on that. It's a new living translation, which stays accurate to the original

text while also making it very readable for your kids.

Sometimes even for you, when I'm studying for a passage, I will read. I typically teach from the ESV,

but I'll read all the passages. And if I'm feeling like something's clunky or hard to understand,

I will go to the NLT to just try to make it in a way that I can understand it more easily.

And so if you're having a child that's being

introduced to the scriptures for the first time, this is a great translation. To do that, it's a great Bible to do that because, again, they're not just going to see a bunch of words when they open up the Bible. They will see all kinds of pictures and activities and science experiments and fun facts and biographies and all kinds of stuff that's going to keep their attention.
