Buoyed by continued support from President-elect Donald Trump, the crisis atmosphere enveloping Hexat's nomination has cooled somewhat, although the former Army National

Guard officer in Fox News host is still far from a sure thing for confirmation. Jake is just an

interesting kind of pattern here where, you know, it seemed as though, you know, Hexeth's nomination

was potentially going to have to be pulled. But right now,

you know, at least in the short term, again, this is, there hasn't been a hearing. We're not saying

he's going to get confirmed. But it does feel as though the mood on Capitol Hill has changed

when it comes to Heggseth. Yeah, that's right. And that started with Joni Ernst, the Iowa Republican

and former and veteran, who said that she's going

to support Hegseth throughout the process. Now, that sounds like she's going to support
