I might as well have some fun with this episode because it's probably going to get me in trouble.

So before we get started on what will be a very contentious topic,

let me tell you my favorite Roe versus Wade joke.

You and I are in Washington, D.C.

I'm just starting out in stand-up comedy at this time.

During the day I work on Capitol Hill, but several times a week I slink into a basement or an attic or an abandoned boiler

room.

Talab jokes at drunks and suits.

Right now, up on stage, is my buddy, Hormo's Rochi, Hormo's Rashidi, he's starting out to.

He's not yet at the world's famous comedy store in LA as he will be, but he's good, he's very funny.

He's got the audience on his side. They're loosened up, relaxed, laughing. And then, Ormose says,

Roe versus Wade. Roe versus Wade was a controversial subject.

It might be too soon.

I just want to take a quick poll in the audience,

see where you guys stand on the issue, okay?

Is that cool?

The whole audience tenses up.

You can even hear on that audio clip I just played that people do not want to discuss Roe v. Wade at a comedy club.

The postures of everyone is uncomfortable.

Sphinx, Sphincters tighten.

Everyone is uncomfortable.
