Should have known better last week when we started this discussion of the greatest seasons of all time that there'd be too much to talk about, especially with us nerds.

And so we are taking that to a part two. I encourage

you to go back and listen to part one if you have not yet already where we are basically coming

up with the universe of all of the greatest seasons of all time. At the end of today's episode,

John and I are each going to pick our top three greatest individual seasons of all time

in order. I think just to recap a few things, John and I both put a little bit more focus on the

regular season than the playoffs.

But if you didn't have a good playoffs, you basically can't be considered for this.

It is ultimately what it came down to.

I think that's how we described it.

And then also, we are only picking two seasons per player.

Otherwise, you'd probably have Jordan and LeBron James

and just completely blacking out the sun here.

So it was more interesting to talk about some more players.

Anything else, any other caveats that I missed before we got started here?

I think you about covered it. All right. Well, so when we left off, we had gone through most of

our candidates. We hadn't gotten to Bill Russell or Will Chamberlain yet. So clearly both those guys

have to be in here. Do you want to start with Chamberlain and which season or seasons that you picked for this discussion?

Yeah. So what's hard about this is that, so the NBA, big picture, has been a pretty

poor custodian of its own history. We don't have many stats from these games, especially
