If you got to the Gospels, you went a tiny bit too far, the Book of Malachai.

In a sermon on January 7, 1855, on the topic of the unchanging nature of God, Charles Haden-Spergen referenced God as the great

unchangeable.

This is a divine attribute of God

referred to by theologians as his immutability,

also known as his unchangeability.

That is to say that God is unchanging and unchangeable

in his very nature, that God is always the same. Now if the word immutable is. is

Well, God is not subject to change and this attribute of God can

honestly be difficult to comprehend in our world as finite created beings

because all we have ever known is change.

Now some change within our world is designed by God and as a result of his creation.

While other change is a direct result of the fall of man that you can actually trace back to

Genesis chapter 3. There is good change such as say the growth of a human being.
