| 1:25.7 | and Earl Nelson's was no exception. Earl's grandmother, who raised him |
| 1:30.5 | after his parents died from syphilis in 1890, was deeply concerned when he started behaving strangely |
| 1:37.2 | after hitting his head when he fell off of a bike. He'd always been a morbid and depressed child, |
| 1:43.7 | leading to him being expelled from school at the age of seven. |
| 1:47.5 | But after the bike accident left him unconscious for almost a week, he seemed like a completely different child. |
| 1:53.7 | He woke up from his coma with memory loss, crippling headaches, and unpredictable behavior, which never went away. Earl's behavior got worse and |
