Summary

Eaten by alligators, or the victim of a brutal killing? The murder of Jerry Michael Williams is one of the few cases where an animal was blamed for a death which, in reality, was a cold-blooded murder.

Welcome to 10-minute murder, brief, and bingeable true crime.

I'm Joe, the host, and thanks for joining today.

Some of you have been asking if I would do an episode on live, like on Facebook Live or Instagram

0:33.8

Live.

0:34.6

My answer to that every single time has been absolutely not. And the reason for that

0:39.8

is because y'all have no idea how much additional commentary I edit out of these things. Mostly because I'm

0:46.0

actively trying to keep the episodes as close to 10 minutes as I can. And the other is, I don't want

0:51.5

anyone to see how many times I mess up trying to pronounce names of people.

0:55.0

So I said no this whole time, but I was recently approached with a compromise,

1:05.0

one that I think I will agree to.

1:08.0

I'll do the episode just like I normally would, but I'll record

1:12.7

a video of the whole thing from start to finish. If it's an absolute dumpster fire, no harm done,

1:18.5

I won't post it. If it is postable, I will post it. So I think I'll do that. Maybe.

1:24.9

I also drink a lot while doing this, not necessarily alcohol, but sometimes. I just mean

1:31.4

that I can't stand to have a dry mouth when talking for long periods of time, having a wet mouth is

1:37.0

best. And that sounds whatever, and that is the kind of thing that usually gets edited out.

1:43.5

Anyway, it's a strong maybe. Before we get

1:46.7

going with your story today, this is a reminder to subscribe if you are new to listening to 10-minute
