Welcome to 10-minute murder, brief and bingeable true crime.

My name is Joe. I'm the host, and thank you so much for joining today.

0:22.5

Last week, I was having a conversation with someone, like face-to-face conversation, not internet conversation. I feel like we have to

0:28.1

differentiate the two nowadays, mouth words versus internet words. But I was having a conversation with

0:34.1

someone about how to trust people, people that are just untrustworthy in general

0:38.7

versus psychopaths. Now, I understand this is a murder podcast, but I'm not saying that people

0:44.6

that are untrustworthy are necessarily murderers. I'm not saying that psychopaths, they're

0:48.6

murderers. I'm saying I had a conversation with someone about how to trust people, how they

0:53.7

trust people. And they gave me

0:55.4

their measuring stick. And it's one question that you ask someone and you just slip it in in the

1:00.0

middle of a conversation. And this determines how they trust someone. And here's the question

1:05.1

that they ask. Did you cry during the land before time? And here's the answer key if you plan to use this in your own

1:12.8

life. The correct response is obviously, because if you did not cry when Littlefoot's mother died,

1:19.6

then you might have some things to work through. And like I said, that is their measuring stick.

1:23.7

I haven't actually tried that out myself. But if you know me and you're listening to this, and I ask you that question, spoiler alert, I'm trying to figure out if I can trust you or not. And by the way, I think you could use all dogs go to heaven or Charlotte's Web. Either those you could substitute with the land before time. I think it'll still work the same. All right, before we get going with your story today, if you are a new listener to 10-minute murder, I love that you're here. Make sure you hit the subscribe button
