Solomon closes the book of Ecclesiastes with these words. Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter.

Occasionally I'll hear someone say, oh, I miss the good old days. Have you ever heard that expression? I wonder if the good old days were actually as good as we thought

Oh, for sure, there were sweet, precious things in the past and many blessings,

But if you're not careful, you can live always thinking about the good old days and missing today.

We come in our study of Ecclesiastes to a fascinating verse in chapter 7.

It's verse number 10, and I think a verse filled both with good common sense and heaven's wisdom.

And may God help us, we need a revival of both in our day.
