Isaiah 53 says that's not going to happen.

He's going to be wounded from my transgressions.

He's going to bear my iniquities.

God has spoken.

There was no risk for Jesus.

In God's mind or in Jesus' mind,

they weren't about to kill Jesus when he was two years old.

We can easily read the Christmas story

and see all the danger that surrounded the infant Jesus.

Soldiers, threats, narrow escapes.
