Chesterton talks about becoming childlike.

He says the difference between a child and an adult is that children always say

incessantly driving adults mad, do it again, do it again, do it again, do it again.

And the adult says, surely after the tenth time, they won't want to do it again, do it again. And the adult says, surely after the 10th time, they won't

want to do it again, but they do because they haven't fallen all the way yet. I mean, they

haven't grown up into the adult kind of fallenness that we have that you do it three times

and you don't want to do it anymore because it's boring. There is something about how kids can see the same

thing again and again and still be amazed. We grow out of that, unfortunately, but God doesn't.

To begin tonight by reading some verses from Job 37,

somebody told me this afternoon that there's a snowstorm on the way.

I didn't know whether that's true or not. Is that true? Somebody's nodding. So I thought I'd read about that from the Bible, because the Bible has

a lot to say about the way the Lord rules the weather, including snow and ice and heat.
