And in that email he asked me, Mama Iia, how should I be with pain how should I be with pain you know

with everything that's going on in the world today, a lot of people are in pain.

Some because they're impacted directly.

Some because of the way they think about what's going on,

some because they feel the energy of what's going on,

some because they feel hopeless,

some feel helpless, but a lot of people are in pain.

One of the things that I said to my students was,

what is your relationship with disaster? What is your relationship with disaster?

What is your relationship with disaster, even if it's not your disaster?

Do not rush in to fix it or to run away from the sadness of the moment, trying to escape the moment and

bypass the gift that the pain is offering you.

When you're in pain, PAIN, pay attention inward now. The first thing to do is go in and identify what that pain is.

Is it a pain of fear, is it a pain of sadness, is it a pain because of what you're thinking, what you're feeling?
