Chris, you know, the biggest question on everyone's mind, all Giant fans' minds, I think, is first one, will they sign Leonard Williams to a long-term

extension? And if so, when will that happen and how much? And two, you know, dude, it's something

that everyone wants, I think, 99% of giant fans want them back. Is there any way in hell they could possibly keep

Dalvin Tomlinson if they sign Leonard Williams? I mean, look, we've talked about it before.

It's going to cost a boatload of money. You even wrote a hell of an article on it this week.

You know, as we get, as we're in free agents or get closer to free agency and and you can name a franchise

you can tag franchise players now is that is that a is that a is that a possibility chris well look

i don't think it look it's going to be slim not as when there's a world there's a way with salary

caps um the way you can move around numbers and all that. You know, we've seen some teams, especially in our division, do it for the last three, four years. When just when you think they don't have any money left, they're signing this guy and that guy, especially the Eagles, right? Right. And the Cowboys and all that. So there's a will, there's a way.

But now, the question is, you know, how much money are you going to put in one position? Right. Leonard Williams is a priority. Leonard Williams is probably going to get done. And what are you looking at? 18 to 20, right? Has to be. That's what you're looking at. and after the year, he's, he just had, he's going to get that money. He's going to, what we call what, second tier money, right, under Aaron Donald and all that stuff. You know what, dude, it's almost like Aaron Donald than everyone else, right? Like, I'm trying to even think, like, who the hell else is even with Aaron Donald, right? It's just interesting.

Yeah, it's like Aaron Donald.

Right, exactly. Obviously, and well-deserved, because he is the best, you know, by far. Then you got to Defause, Brockness, and, you know, and now Lenny Williams is in that category. Yeah. After the year he had. Well, you know, deservingly so. So he's going to get that money. and then what's Dalvin looking at? So, okay, so you figure he's looking at $10 million. He's going to want $10, $11 million. All right? Yeah. Can it, if you tag him,

the projected franchise tag for that position is around $14 million. Right. I don't know if the Giants could do that.

Look, the COVID, the cap getting knocked down to like 180.

It's probably top out, 183, something around there, the final number.

That really hurts them.

You know, it's not much money to play with, and only like a million over the cap.

Excuse me, a million under the cap now.

Yeah.

So now you got Lenny Williams, you know, you've got to put money aside for the rookies and all that.

And I just don't see it happening.
