I think you may know that our next book is the Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood.

We're going to talk about that next week.

We've also picked our book for November. It's a really interesting choice.

It's a novel called Night Rider by Robert Penn-Warren.

It's set in tobacco country, Kentucky, and Tennessee, and it's basically about mob behavior in the white supremacist's south in the early part of the 20th century.

I've started it. I already can really recommend this book.

It's not the easiest book to find, but it isn't print, and you can certainly get a copy on Amazon if you'd like to read it along with us.

Then I want to tell you about some live shows. There's a slate event on November 8th called The People vs. Trump Year 1.

It's at the new school in Greenwich Village.

Jemelle Bowie will be there, Dahlia Lyswick will be there, Julia Turner will be there.

They've got some great guests to talk about the first year of Trump, including Jelani Cobb from The New Yorker.

The next week on November 14th, Trumpcast will be live at the Norse Theatre in San Francisco, with Jemelle, Virginia Heffernin, and a special guest.
