weekend. So I was thinking over the weekend about how different all our communication has

become. For a significant amount of folks we are still conducting our daily lives over

a little square box on a video call. However all of the Zoom time and video calls I think

have taken their toll. It might just be me but I've noticed that at times it leaves me

feeling quite critical of myself. You know it's not normal to see yourself all of the

time. I often find there is a subconscious critical dialogue happening in the background.

Can they hear me? I'm not being clear enough. Oh I look so tired and I remember my meditation

teacher once told me that we need to make friends with ourselves and at first I didn't

really get where he meant. I mean why do we need to make friends with ourselves? We already

know ourselves, right? But the more I sat with it, the more I realized that actually we

spend so much time worrying about what other people think, that we don't often consider

what we think and feel. And what's more the way we speak to ourselves sometimes can be

so cruel and mean. Can they hear me? I'm not being clear enough. Oh I look so tired.
