So the message today, if it had a title, it doesn't yet,

because they don't get titles till we're done with them.

But if it had a title today, it would be the friend

that everybody longs for.

Becoming the friend that everybody longs for.

You, in your mind, and I, my mind,

have a mental picture of the kind of friends we want, right?

We know what kind of people we want around us in life.

And so today's message is about becoming that kind of friend

that you want around you in your life.

And if you do that, then somebody's going to get the benefit

of the prayer today of getting a friend that they want in life,

because it's going to be you.

Now, you may or may not get one,

depending on how the people around you receive this message today,

but you can become one.

And life always begins with becoming rather than finding.

And even in dating, we're going to talk about that in a few weeks.

Dating is not about finding the right person for your life.

It's about becoming the person God wants you to be.

Getting married is not about finding the perfect woman

or finding the perfect man.
