Hey everyone and welcome back to another episode of Short Stories for Kids.

I'm Lucy your host and I'm here to read you guys another exciting adventure story where

you just might be the hero.

So today's story request is from somebody who I don't see a name for it but we love the

idea so we wanted to do it so whoever you are do you write into us through our website

and we can give you a proper shout out next week but we love your idea you would like a

story about a family of foxes that go to out of space and discover a new planet and you

figure out how to live and build a civilization in order to start new lives.

Well this is a very original idea um the idea of a family of foxes going to space that's

very cool so thank you for this request and we hope that you love this story.

Are you guys ready let's dive right in.

Charlie and Lily were playing in the backyard of their house Lily was a baby fox and her

brother Charlie was five years older than her it was snowing heavily all the trees and

bushes seemed to be covered in a white thick duvet.

Charlie stuck out his cherry colored tongue in the snow that way he could taste the falling

snowflakes in his mouth watching her brother curiously Lily did the same thing she was

still a baby and loved to imitate her brother a while past and mother fox came back looking

for her children and saw them catching snow with their mouths.

Oh Charlie she exclaimed anxiously look at Lily she's trying to copy you you both might

fall sick come inside I've prepared some warm egg soup for supper come on quickly

mummy fox held Lily in her arms and went inside Charlie followed where's papa asked Charlie

sitting in his chair they were waiting for the papa fox they always had their supper together
