For those who have put their faith in Jesus the need to strive in order to stand out is over. Just as a lightbulb shines bright because the power running through it illuminates the filament, we are at our brightest when the power of God flows through us. This is what the world is in need of now, Christians whose priority is to shine brightly in their workplaces, families, and communities.

0:18.0	So we're starting a new journey called Be Bright. I love it. It's what God has asked us to be.
0:30.0	In fact, Jesus' first teaching is the sermon on the Mount.
0:34.0	And he barely got his ministry going when on the Sea of Galilee, thousands were gathered on a hillside and Jesus began to teach.
0:43.0	And he was teaching the principles of the Kingdom of God.
0:47.0	He said, don't store up for yourself treasure on earth because you can lose that.
0:52.0	Store your treasure in heaven.
0:55.0	He said, seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness.
1:00.0	And everything else will be given to you.
1:02.0	He said, seek and you'll find knock and the door will be open to you.
1:07.0	Ask and it will be given to you.
1:10.0	He said, blessed are the pure and heart. Blessed are the Meek and Spirit. Blessed are the poor.
1:16.0	For theirs is the Kingdom of heaven.
1:19.0	And he taught about the ways of God's Kingdom so that we could live with a new mindset on earth.
1:27.0	And in the middle of this teaching, everything shifted when Jesus said in verse 14 and Matthew chapter 5, you are the light of the world.
1:38.0	Now they didn't know what he meant by that.
1:40.0	These guys are just ragged tag gathered together because the word of Jesus was spreading all through the countryside.
1:47.0	He was already doing the miraculous, but now he is shifting the paradigm and he says to them, you are the light of the world.
1:56.0	Now we also was going to claim that he was the light of the world, but it wasn't just about Jesus.
2:03.0	Now it was Jesus making it also about you and about me who followed the Kingdom teachings that he brings us.
