And what we're going to get into today is the Federman, the Lema Federman, as in U.S. Senator

John Federman, Democrat from Pennsylvania, who has not been in the Senate very long, but

it's already been a very eventful time in the United States Senate.

He was sworn in, sworn in as Senator on January the 3rd.

Now on February the 8th, after 36 days in office, Senator Federman was admitted to George

Washington University Hospital in Washington.

He had experienced symptoms that he and those around him feared might be a stroke.

Obviously more on that later, the tests actually showed that he did not have a stroke, but

they were worried about other symptoms, and he actually spent two nights in the hospital,

was released after two nights in George Washington University Hospital in Washington.

So that was on February the 8th, after 36 days in office.

Well on February the 15th, after 43 days in office, Senator Federman checked himself

into Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

He checked himself in for the treatment of depression, and checked himself in on February

15th, and he is still there.

Recently, the Wall Street Journal reported their Federman quote, could remain hospitalized

for more than a month, though some speculation that it would be less than two months, so there

would be somewhere between one month and two months of the relatively newly sworn-in

Senator from Pennsylvania.
